Yes ~ I've heard of the Freecycle Network - supposedly a great site! Also, just FYI ~ I'm fairly certain the kiddo is leaning back on the chairs doing tricks etc - may not even be aware that he's doing it ~ while studying, watching TV or whatever - this was the case with us years ago! LOL!!! And P.S. to all ~ March is National Women's History Month!!

As with anything, Freecycle can only be as good as the sum of it's parts. I suppose it starts with the moderator. Our sends out group messages from time to time reminding everyone of rules. Seems to work.

I LOVE the idea of freecycle and it must depend on the individual groups because the one i TRIED to join was such a stickler about the rules that I could never give anything away (a rule for joinging and being able to get). I have also heard friends who have had problems with trying to give things away and the people wanting the item wanted it brought TO them!!! The idea is great-just in practice....glad its working for you though.

in our area we have to load onto the neighboring county (as we do not have a chapter---too small).
and that county will not accept us...so tough titty said the kitty I guess.

You lucky, my kids started in on the sofa, my beautiful $1500 leather sofa - the whole back is broken - that is THE ONLY place they are allowed to sit now. I'll definitely have to check out freecycle. I hope there is something in my area.
