My Filofax is getting the brunt of my creativity at the moment...

I did a video this morning (I'll put it above this post) but I wanted to do still shots and close ups of the art I talked about in the video.   This post could stand alone as a fun, picture heavy post but it would be most useful in conjunction with the video.

These are the two brands of water color pencils I use before I wet them...

And this is after.

The top ones are Staedtler and the bottom ones, Faber Castell.   Both are excellent and pigmentation varies more between colors then between brands.

The brush pen I use exclusively is from JetPens, it comes in several sizes and configurations.

I've started to use bottom tabs, it's easier with an A5!

Here are some of the little water colors I do on the month on two page Ordning and Reda inserts.

I have posted these to Instagram and Facebook but I know everyone doesn't follow me everywhere.

And a physical another...

I'm splitting the week on two page days to do menu planning.  I know most people have a whole separate section but it's easier for me to have less sections.

I've also done some straight art....

#project365 day 10 - winter scene for the #qimmis February month on two page insert. I used watercolor pencils but I think this paper would be more suited to regular pencil drawing or very light watercolor washes. It takes pen really well but the 'tooth'

And tried the Qimmis inserts...

The paper is lovely and would be excellent for pen drawings with a light wash of color.   It doesn't have enough tooth for straight watercolor.   It would be great for people who decorate in general, the design is white and very clean.   Lots of room for stamping and tapes!

I know this post is a bit different then most, but I'm trying to work on my artwork a bit more this year and my Filofax is getting the brunt of it!
