Hurricane Kerfuffle

I've changed a lot of things around lately; from binders, to sections, to how I do my pages.  Some things have worked, some not but sitting inside the hurricane of planner frustration  was the calm eye of another possibility....

Which lead me to these...

The 2 day per page insert.

My planner wheels have been spinning about the available space on the WO2P inserts.  Visually, they aren't bad but the way I fill them out always ended up looking messy and chaotic.   My pages don't have to be perfect but when my diary is a random big ol' mess, I am one too.

And the weekends are always an issue.  I need the same amount of space on Saturday and Sunday. Some weekends, I need more (I've always thought a WO2P with Monday-Friday on the left and Saturday and Sunday on the whole right page would be very popular.)

My A5 worked better even though the weekends were half size but because the binders bigger it was ... okay.

I decided to look on the Filofax website and found the two day per page inserts.  I've only seen them on Sam Luvely's channel but thought they only came in pocket size.  Nope, they come in personal size too.

They are not lined (but neither are the Cotton Cream WO2P inserts) so I'm playing around with ways to work around this.

Yesterday I put a sheet of graph paper behind it and wrote.   Not crazy in love with the  result (although it looks neater then I usually produce on unlined pages) so today I taped in a graph square which might be a good solution for me.

They were a little hard to find on the site and the easiest way to get to them is type "two days per page" in the search bar.  The direct link to them on the UK site is HERE and on the US site Here.

There are some distinct advantages to them and a few drawbacks; my weekly overview is gone and of course, the lack of lines is a big problem for me but I'm going to try a make them work.  You really never know what will work until you use them for a while so I'm commiting myself to them for at least a month.

No idea if this will work or I'll just end up in a bigger kerfuffle but a good, long try will give me a chance to work out the planner kinks.

How's the pink pocket rio doing?

This is the last post in my series about how well my filofaxes have held up over time.  I will say these don't come up often; I've seen the other two colors (cream and green) but I've never seen the pink one.  I'm sure they have and someone has purchased one but I've never seen one personally.

Filofax has made a lot of pink binders but this is my favorite version of pink, hands down.

Filofaxes: How the wear...

This is part 2 showing how Filofaxes wear over time.  These are my two oldest and I think I'm going to do one more on the pink pocket Rio...
