My Filofax is minty fresh...

I didn't know how I'd feel dialing down the rainbow that was my Filofax  but I'm digging it.

According to wiki planning  is "the process of thinking about and organizing the activities required to achieve a desired goal."   And un-huh, I feel that.   Wiki goes to explain, "an important, albeit often ignored aspect of planning, is the relationship it holds with forecasting. Forecasting can be described as predicting what the future will look like, whereas planning predicts what the future should look like."

And there I had myself.   Figuring out how not to miss set appointments was critical to me but the rest..  the bulk of my good intentions? Goals?  Eh.  I hadn't given that a whole lot of thought.

When I stripped away the artwork (a little, it's not all gone - That's part of who I am) the planning began peeking through again.

"Hello", it said.

"You're still using stickers, I see."  And I responded, " Get a life."

It had a point but, "The stickers I'm using advance me in the direction of goals."  At least that was what I said and I'm sticking to it.

I found some new diary stickers at an Etsy Shop, Kawaii Stickers For you.  I like the way they look but they are small and non-intrusive.   And okay, they are adorable too.

But cross my heart that's not the point.

I had a lot of my Instagram Photos printed recently (there are lots of places that offer this service) and I tacked a few on to a couple o'few fly leafs...

Nothing too colorful, mostly black and whites with a shot of blue photos, that mean something to me.    I got the prints to use in my Midori Traveler's Notebook.  I'm working on my Journal Gram a lot now that I have the photos and thought I'd add a few to my Portland Grand.

I'm enjoying the way things are looking, it feels fresher...  Almost minty.   When I open it, it's clean and easy to see what's what and what's not.  It feels like an honest move in the direction of real goals and it's really never felt like that before.  I think this is a step in a positive direction.

Just printed some of my IG photos too. Thinking of putting them in with journal pages in my filofax! Love your new minty look!

I've played around with stickers and washi tape and do like the look but I don't have the motivation to keep up with it. Plus I write EVERYWHERE on my pages so I need all the space to be available.

I'm intrigued by your use of graph paper.
