The pictures that were missing in the last post...

I just looked at the post I did this morning and realized there was not a picture in it.  In the life of my blog (It started February 2009) I've done, oh probably, less then five posts without pictures.  The odd thing is I did have pictures that went with it.

I have no real explanation.  Chalk it up to a brain snap...

Since there were a few comments I wanted to make and the post is pretty wordy already I decided to do a second post today with the lost pictures of this morning's Goldilocks post.

The whole point of the pictures was to demonstrate how different last weeks pages were but it all worked because I'd switched to weekly inserts...

 So without further adieu...

The fabulous deep teal pages came in the Portland Grand.  I love the color and don't know if I can get them anymore which made me want to relegate these to hoarding status.  But I fought the urge.

These are the great Paper Chase pages I just got from Judith.  They take pencil very, very well and P.S. still loving the eight color pencil.  Best money I've spend on Filophrenalia is ages.

These are the Filofax Planner Pages I've been using for a few months.  Still loving these.

I was playing with my pencils and template here.  This was the basic geometric shape template.  I'll tell you...  With this one I can save a lot by not buying sticker dots.   The nice thing about the pencil is you can do color under or over your writing since pencil doesn't 'wet' the paper.  It's all very efficient and neat and even light pencil colors show up on darker pages (Unlike pastel highlighters).

I love translucent stickers and post its but they are hard to find.  Avery used to make a whole line but no more.  They are still around but not locally.  There are issues with them though.  I guess the color is put on as a finish so after time the surface has a crazed appearance.   The one's from the dollar store seem especially susceptible to breaking down eventually.   The other thing is, a lot of ink has issues with them.

I tested these last week;  the Micron pigment pen which are awesome on most paper never quite got dry and the gelly roll (also usually great) took about five minutes.  The only one that didn't have issues was the Coleto and I have a love/hate relationship with that pen.  I love it to pieces until I have to refill it...

I even put in some Clairefontaine graph paper.  I have a major stationary crush on that paper, it's just so ....Divine.   It takes pencil a bit less well but it's so smooth, it's creamy.  It's without equal for pens.

I guess that wraps it up.  Sorry it took two posts to get all thoughts and pictures out.
