Randomness and my Filofax

What follows is an extremely random Filofax post.  I don't even know how to classify it...

I love these post it page markers, I have so many I needed to store them in a labeled container...  Actually a old Filofax box but, same difference.

If you've never been to  Yozo craft it's an amazing source for all things adorable, cheap and stationaryish.  But go when you have time because once you're there you may never come out.

My favorite translucent arrow tabs...

I got these at Barnes and Noble and if you live near one, get some of these.  They are very bright and really catch your attention.  They are classified as bookmarks in the sense that you can use them to highlight text but still read what's under them.   Definitely will re-buy these... probably again and again.

They have the right hole placement for an A5 and if you wanted to keep them in the front it would be perfect but I kept moving them day to day.  Eventually it was a pain so I washi-taped the holes, repunched them and then cut a slit for easy removal.  I'm not sure if all that was necessary but the backing is cardboardish and I didn't want it to shred.

This is the beginning of a project.  You'll probably think I'm really weird but here goes...  I buy old wool  clothes to felt and make new things from.  Normally things like wrist warmers, mittens...  Pot holders. Crafty things.  I find mostly sweaters  but I couldn't resist this aqua color so I'm in the process of making a wool Filofax Insert out of someone's old skirt.

I know.  Weird.  I did warn you.

My plan is to attach something to it (as yet undecided what) so I can carry pens and pencils and then embroider it.

Not a clue how this will pan out but I did get holes in it.  The Japanese Book Punches really do punch through everything...  (more about them here)

And since there is no rhyme or reason to this post anyway....

Is it just me?

Or does anyone else find the Filofax boxes crazy attractive?  I mean look at the graphics.

I would so love a Filofax embossed with the same designs that are on the boxes ...

...à la The Baroque

It doesn't even have to be leather or on the inside, I'd be happy to buy a Filofax with the box graphics in a Domino..

Although not an Apex.

You do have to draw a line in the plastic somewhere.

I love the Filofax boxes too; I'm trying to think of a use for them, other than just storing my extra pages.

I saw those bright arrow post-its at my local B&N, but again, I couldn't think of a legit use I had for them, so didn't buy. :(

Songbird - I wish they would make a filofax with the box images embossed. I think it would look great on a domino actually - doesn't even have to be leather!
