Vintage as of the day, Arvin Dinette, June 3, 2012

Swoonable pink and grey Arvin Dinette!

In 1940 Arvin Industries started making metal lawn furniture and dinette sets.

When the United States entered World War 2  they stopped producing consumer goods (late 1941), making instead products for the war effort; bombs, radio equipment, military vehicle parts.

When the war was over, Arvin began producing home products again; irons, ironing boards, waffle makers, radios, and televisions.
