The Crazy Suburban Mom: Thank you so much, Paris!

Thank you so much, Paris!

My family went to Paris last week and had the best time.  They loved the city,  the Paris M├ętro (They were so impressed with how clean it is.), ate the best food they ever ate, and they told me everyone was so nice.

Despite a mastery of French that is at best, mediocre; the Parisians all patiently tried to figure out what the heck they were talking about.

I wanted to post some of the pictures they brought back.  They saw a lot of classic art...

One museum had amazing furniture.

I want this chair, by the way...

They went to the Music Museum

With many wonderful displays.

The Science Museum was awesome.

And you can't go to Paris without visiting this.

Look at the Eiffel tower, it's breath-taking!

Je vous remercie beaucoup, la France pour prendre soin de ma famille!

Thank you, France for showing my family the best time ever, they can't wait to go back!

I'm glad your family enjoyed France.

See? the French forgave the freedom fries

The Eiffel tower is to die for. All I could do when I saw it was cry, it is so beautiful.

Now since you had the house all to yourself, did you do the de-crap-a-thon 2012?

I didn't do as much as I wanted but they were only gone 5 days. Still, I really STILL need to do so much! I love the pics of the eiffel tower too, amazing!

WHAT??! And they didn't take YOU??? I would have volunteered to watch the dog friends. :(

Found it :) I love the pictures!
I'm glad they say the people were nice -- most tourists coming to France say the opposite, maybe things are finally changing?

My family said they saw a lot of obnoxious tourists so no wonder the bad reviews! They said everyone was so nice and even went to get a breakfast one day at a place that doesn't do take out - the place let them take it to go with the plates! All they had to do was promise to bring them back :) I can't think of a USA place that would do that for someone who can't speak the language!
