24K Nail of the day

The Gold & the Beautiful by Wet n' Wild is a brilliant color from last year's CRAZE collection (you can still find them on ebay).

The color is a saturated 24K gold (with teeny gold shimmer) and it was easy to work with; no application issues and covered in two coats.  With a top coat of Seche Vite it dried quickly, alone it isn't especially fast drying.

This color isn't for everyone, colors in the yellow family don't compliment everyone's skin.  While there are many better colors on me then this I l can't help myself, I love this color.

It's a great color for day in autumn and looks bangin' when you're wearing dark browns.

Score:  ♥ ♥ ♥ out of five hearts.

*I bought this myself.*

Bubble Gum Pink Nail of the day

Bubble Gum Pink by e.l.f.  ($2.00) s my nail polish of the day.  I'm wearing two coats; could use a third for total  coverage (there is a spot or two that isn't quite there) but as you can see, two's not bad.

It looked  much lighter on the site swatch....

The color isn't much like e.l.f. 's site picture (the picture in the bottle) which in my opinion, is the color of bubble gum.   And  the color I was looking for.

That said the color is very flattering and I've  received several compliments on my nails since using Bubble Gum Pink.

I will use this on my nails again and for sure on my toes.  This color doesn't scream 'winter' to me but it's got depth and saturation, common in winter colors.  While I look at this and think 'summer' I will probably grab for this on a deary winter's day to perk myself up.

From the site:  This color-lock formula with chip resistant shield gives long lasting color with high shine. The bristle design glides color on flawlessly, and quick dry formula gives perfect application every time. Key nutrients infused with Vitamin E for stronger, healthier nails.

Our formula is FREE of: Toluene, Formaldehyde, and Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP).

Score:  ♥ ♥ ♥ out of five hearts.
