Blog Sale Coach Bleeker Leather and Vera Bradley Tic Tac Tote

I thought I would try to sell a few things using a blog sale format before I list on eBay.

I got this purse at an estate sale and Ginger is helping me model it...This is taken

From what I've found out it's a BLEECKER LEATHER COACH PURSE Style #11419 and Retails $448.00  Details: Nice Coach quality  Black Leather with Flap Closure,  hidden Snap under Buckle (magnetic, it just catches closed), Large pocket on back.

Interior has TATTERSAL fabric lining, Inside zip pocket w/coach creed & serial.  Interior Cell phone pocket & extra pocket.

The hardware is polished brass.  The  strap drop about 14" and it  measures approx.10"(W) x 10"(H) x 4"(D).

All dimensions are approximation's.  There is NO hangtag!   The purse is great and I picked it up because I wanted to use it but it's just too small for me, but it's not a small bag - More medium I'd say and I love the strap drop.  It definitely was used a lot and the inside could use a cleaning, I tried to get pictures to show marks but they don't show up; the inside doesn't look new.

The outside looks like a well loved bag too but in a good way, the way quality bags age....  If that makes sense.  This could be someone's favorite bag forever - if it was only a few inches bigger it would be mine.

I will send this to the US  for $75 (via paypal) with no extra shipping (I will ship to Canada but contact me about shipping) Contact me here if you're interested and I'll send an invoice and mark this taken.

Sale pending The next item is a Vera Bradley Large Tic Tac Tote in Green Cupcakes

I love this, it's huge and I used it a fair amount but it looks great.  They really hold up.  I went to the Vera site and they don't seem to make these anymore?  Wow....  I have one in another color so I'm decluttering the purses a bit.

Has one zip and two slip pocket inside with a tortoise toggle closure. It measures about15 1/4" x 13 1/4" x 4 3/4", with a strap drop of 11 1/2".

I will send this to the US for $ 40 (via paypal) with no extra shipping. I will ship to Canada but contact me about shipping. Contact me here if you're interested and I'll send an invoice and mark this taken.

I'll be listing a small Dooney later.

5 things I'm grateful for, including divine intervention

1.  My car - Most of the time I rag on Pandora but she has one spectacularly frigid  air conditioner.  For the last ten years I've driven cars without A-Cee.  Some days I'd get behind the wheel and give my dead air conditioners a whirl for old times sake because moving air had to be better then nothing, right? Nope. Nope. And a disgusting gust of hot air to the nope...

A car blowing it's hot nose air on you is just gross.  ( As I think here - a past car regression, as it were my last car didn't have heat either) ... but Pandora is Arctic!

2.  My new purse -  I  walk everyday as part of my Nutrisystem plan because it's the right thing to do, plus sitting around really does make my butt look fat....  This week it's too hot to go out(side) so I go to stores instead which is backfiring in all sorts of bad ways but also in one good way.

Say hello to my new favorite purse, I love her so - And...

What's in my new purse?

.... this is all the stuff I carry.

I totally tried to weed some things out for the sake of my back but eh, that didn't go well as evidenced by this, What's in my bag? picture.

3.  The best slippers in the world -  About a week ago I grabbed some clearance  (Three dollars!) slippers from TJ Maxx and they make my feet feel loved.

When you don't feel very good it helps to have slippers that love you.

4.   Company -  Ginger loves hot sunny days but this heat is even too much for her.

I'm happy to have someone to ride the heat wave with me and just hang.  Inside.

5.  Coincidences - After one of my walks last week (read: shopping trips) I felt whiny about my size because nothing looked good on me,  that made me feel bad about myself, which made me depressed, then hungry.  The short version of that was I wanted a cheeseburger.

I don't know if that makes sense to you but that's how my mind works; I go straight from sad to cheeseburger.

I left the store ready to hunt burgers but once in the parking lot this is what I saw.

Yep.  I wanted to eat because I was too fat and ran smack into a blimp floating over my car.

It's got the poetic justice of divine intervention, wouldn't you say?

Nutrisystem, Barbie and cheese puffs

The Nutrisystem Mindset Makeover is the behavior modification part of the plan and I'm on Week 7 (Eating Out, Eating Smart - How to safely dine out).   For me, it's the backbone of the plan.  No, wait - It's the neck.

Getting my  food delivered is the brains of the plan because it's brilliant.  I'm learning what to eat, how much to eat and even how often to eat.  Who knew it was a bad idea to starve all day and eat all night?

  Okay, I knew that.

Everyone knows that but having a months worth of food show up at my door drives home that a body needs twenty-eight breakfasts in twenty eight days.

The Mindset Makeover is the neck because it turns Barbie's, I mean my head in the right direction.  Without a neck my head would be wobbling all day long from one unfortunate food to another; morning fat and oh! So sweet coffee creamers, drive thru burger places spewing beefy smells at lunch and crunchy orangy cheese balls at midnight.

It's the neck's job to turn my head and say, Back away from the Drive-Thru, Buckwheat.

And that's what the Mindset Makeover does...

When  I can't tear myself eyes away from something on the menu  and I start getting wrapped up in how much I want whatever it is I will regret later the Mindset Makeover Lessons turn my head towards better choices.

Wait, I think I'm missing something....

There is a metric ton (low calorie, of course) of support available from Nutrisystem.  You can reach them on their website forums, Facebook and Twitter - And they talk to you, try it!  I   that!

Barbie's sun glasses are the support part of Nutrisystem that tone down the glaring rays of especially delicious looking tidbits in the event I tell my neck to shut up and need to call for back up.

It happens.

This week I've undone some of the damage from being in bed for two weeks, lost a pound of the 5.8 gain.   I hoped it would all be gone but I've just started walking again.  Because the weather is, Really? Can air be this hot....

...I've been mall walking.  I hope it gets cool again, I keep coming home with bags of stuff.  I'm not supposed to be stopping to shop...  It's not nearly as aerobic.

Maybe that's why I only lost a pound.  You think?

I know for some people it's all about the sweet desserts but for me it's the cheese puffs, man.

The Nutrisystem Program is about variety!

Being on Nutrisystem is about learning a new way to eat, finding better options, discovering healthy things I love and eating them all!

I wanted to share a few of things I eat regularly and I might start posting a recipe or two.

I love Shirataki Noodles and eat them (almost) every day.  The House Foods  brand is easiest to find because  several area grocery stores carry them but  I visit an Asian Market when possible to find 'regular' Shirataki Noodles for a variety of reasons (If anyone one is interested in a Shirataki Post, let me know).  If I I can't get to one, I buy the Tofu Shirataki noodles.

These  are the best add-in!  They are pretty much all fiber so very filling, have few (or no) calories and I like the chewy texture.  It's not like western noodle.

There is some prep involved in these because they have to be rinsed and boiled.  They don't smell great straight out of the package but that goes away.  I'll admit the first time I opened a package it went  right down the garbage disposal.

I'd heard the flavor described as 'unique'.  That is kind.  But I've got that whole process covered now.

A tablespoon of these bacon crumbles have all the flavor of bacon (because that's all that's in there) and just twenty-five calories.  These are wonderful on salads but GREAT! thrown in a pan with a scant teaspoon of oil and then tossed with cooked veggies.  The bacon flavors the oil but adds almost no calories.

Del Monte Fruit Chiller tubes (just the tubes, not the cups)

Mmmm, these are fun tubes of delicious, frosty, strawberry heat-wave relief  disguised as a 55 calorie fruit serving.

Mmmm, again!   I love the Dole Fruit in Sugar Free Gel cups.  60 calories in these and a serving of fruit.  I have one in my fridge and three back-ups in the cupboard.

I just got this last night and haven't tried it yet; got to freeze the bananas first. But I can't wait to try my Yonanas out.

The theory is, it makes a creamy, ice cream-like frozen concoction out of just nanners.  But you can add other stuff to get a variety of flavors.  This afternoon I bought a metric-monkey butt ton of nanners in anticipation for a the coming Yonanathon.

Shiny, shiny car....

It's been fore score and a metric butt ton of years since I've sat in a new car, wait - I can't remember the last time I even touched a new car  so the teeniest things amaze me about our (yet unnamed) Toyota Prius.  For example that thing is mad shiny.

It's not blue.

That is the sky reflecting off the hood, it's a black car.

I don't feel like I'm driving; I feel like I'm bedazzling New Jersey....
