The Baklava conspiracy

This morning I'm  - very - relieved that the Thanksgiving Holiday (drama) is over.   Being on Nutrisystem this morning is a blessing because....

    1. My meals are all planned and practically ready. I'm hardly ever more then two minutes away from an on-program meal.
    2.    If I jump off the wagon for a meal (a-hem or two) , all my food is staring me in the cabinet the next morning reminding me, Hey! Remember your goals!
    3.  Any damage done comes off quick as a bunny and..
Nutrisystem Facebook, Twitter, and Forums are open 24/7 for support  (and recipes) if an unfinished Costco-sized box of baklava is calling my name.

Not that one is...

Okay, I lied, it's been calling my name for three days.   I've decided that baklava is one of those foods that should never be within twenty-five feet of me.

I can't  resist the sticky crunch of it.

For today, I'm pretty grateful to be back on my plan.  Bloated isn't a good look.  I'll be taking it easy today, recovering... Remembering my goals...  And relaxing.

I'm using the dogs in my life as examples for that last part.

Ventura says, What happened yesterday is gone.  Don't worry; be happy!

And also, There's nothing in life so bad it can't be improved by an endless supply of soft pillows.

Ginger's theory is similar but it has to do with hot laundry straight from the dryer.

I think you look a lot skinnier all bunched up in covers too. Another good dog/cat beauty tip. :)

That is why I don't go to Costo E-V-E-R!

I spend too much and I eat too much.

For whatever reason I'm eating less and loosing weight, slowly but surely. I'm a teensy bit more agressive and that might be the reason.

I'm allowing myself to be angry instead of eating all of my emotions.

I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one hearing the food speak to me...:)

Hug to everyone!
