The Crazy Suburban Mom: Mom, you're a cheese ball

Mom, you're a cheese ball

A few weeks ago Mom Central asked if I wanted something from Hickory Farms and yes. Yes, I did.  See here's something about me you probably don't know although after blogging all this time  it's hard to imagine there's anything you don't know but here goes.

Party-Planner

I love getting wrapped up food as a gift.  I don't know what it is but if I open something and see  little wrapped up salamis, mini boxes of crackers - cheese -  maybe those baby jelly jars - scattered candies.  I dunno.   I about clap my hands and scream like an eight year old girl with shiny new shoes.

Not that I don't like shiny new shoes, but that's a whole other post.

So when I got this in the mail I was all, Who wants summer sausage? And pretty much my family just stared, What the heck are you talking about? And right after I  got them all jazzed I decided to save my Party Planner Box for Thanksgiving.

Ma. Why did you get us all excited and I just shrugged, it being mine and all, Well I'm sorry but that cheese ball is perfect for a party tray.

And everyone mumbled something about me being the cheese ball, but you know what?

011

It was perfect!

I have been a Hickory Farms customer for years but this party platter thing never occurred to me.  I've spent more money making my own deli platters then this costs.  Have you seen the price of cheese lately?

As a fabulous aside by buying a Party Planner Box you'll be joining Share Our Strength®, the leading non-profit organization working to end childhood hunger in America. This holiday, Hickory Farms will donate $5 to their No Kid Hungry Campaign for every Party Planner you order.

So it's a nice thing to do besides the joy you'll get opening a box of Nom! Although maybe the food gift thing is just me and for you it's in the eating and if it is, Nom! there too.

And hearing my family refer to me as a cheese ball, well it doesn't get much better then that!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Hickory Farms and received a  gift box from Hickory Farms to thank me for taking the time to participate.
