New Jersey as art...
I've been driving around getting pictures of New Jersey lately. Something about the suburban landscape is ringing surreal to me...

I agree that NJ isn't quite what people imagine it is. I like taking pictures while we're on hikes. People say "Oh, you mean, it isn't just the turnpike?" :)

Whenever I see/hear New Jersey, I don't think about thse 'Shore' kids---I think about the 'Soprano's'

We are little quirky- a little retro in places. That 287/202/206 interchange is well known to me- about 30 min from where I live.
People are kind of floored when they see Delaware Water Gap pics, the state forests, or the lighthouses because they have this weird concept of what we are.
We need some good press. Be get enough of the bad!
I like taking pics when I'm out and about. Sometimes while driving. Not good!
