I've talked a lot about my kid and his friends cooking lately...
If you and your kids cook together (which used to happen but now that he's older I'm asleep by the time he's cooking... So if maybe your kid cooks when you're asleep like mine does?

I LOVE cooking with my family. I have to mention that I have a sassy daughter who is supremely hard to connect with. When we cook together, however, we feel so close. It's saved our relationship! We bake cookies every week.
I love this comment - one thing I love about cooking with kids, actually just being in the kitchen with them is the time together. Taking without pressure. Even if I'm cooking or they are - you can talk but it's not like staring at each other...it's easy time. Fun time...
