Back to school giveaway

I have another giveaway - PERFECT! for back to school - because it has to do with lockers.

My kid doesn't have one anymore but it hasn't been that long and I know that lockers are where all due dates, syllabuses, study guides, and anything that needs to be signed goes to die.

The papers pile up from September until June and it just gets worse and worse, not that it was all that organized even in October.   Locker Shelf contacted me because they thought you guys would be interested in a giveaway...

And I thought so too!

And they want to give away three Locker Shelf systems to people who read my blog and how cool is that?  Makes me sort of wish my kid was rooting though his backpack and I could say, Did you check your locker?

And then it would be there, all neat and tidy and I could score some all-knowing mom points.

Hey, a mom can dream.

These things are way cool.  I wish there was something like this I could just, I don't know, open the front door of my house, shove one in and boom - Organized.  Right?

To enter just comment and please tell me, I'm not alone!  I really need to hear that I wasn't the only parent that had to call the school a million times and ask for another copy of that important paper due to be signed yesterday and no, I didn't know he had it a month but this time do me a favor - Staple it to his shirt instead of putting it in his backpack.

Contest will run until August 31, 2010 9:00 pm eastern US only please. 18 years or older.  One comment per person.  Please include your email address in your comment for verification!

*Disclosure - Locker Shelf is providing three to the winners.  I thought my readers would love this product!  I'm not taking one for myself nor was a paid for doing this.*

LockerShelf creator and CEO, Tom Moritz created the LockerShelf ‘designed-to-fit’ concept after searching the Internet for a durable storage solution for his kids' school lockers. He couldn’t find anything that was strong enough to hold all their heavy books and notebooks nor durable enough to take the abuse of everyday use.

Oh, trust are NOT alone! I wind up needing replacement copies of this and that all year long...and I'm a teacher!

I agree with Amy! I'm feeling so scattered!

Hellooooo There...rrreee
Anyone home?
Of course your not alone. Otherwise you go get a glass of wine and a bubble bath. Instead it has to be a quick beer and sponge bath.
Hope your having a fantastic day. Enjoy my birthday weekend with me.....OKAY?

OMG my son is a freshman this year and he is the KING of Neverbringithomeitis.

About 3 times a year I send him to school with an empty bag and bark at him to haul it all out and bring it home: The bad test grades he didn't want me to see, the permission slips we had to ask for duplicates and triplicates of because "I never got it", the forever missing sock from gym class- you name it.

That boy is an unorganized mess! This year he's entering the high school, which can be tough enough- Big fish in little pond has become the little fish in the big pond.

I'd love to get him started on the right path this school year!

ps- are you feeling better?

Lin 8/20/10, 10:39 PM shelf...cuisinart. Locker shelf.....cuisinart. Hmmmmm....I'll take the cuisinart, please. I can't make dog snacks with a locker shelf. Sigh.

I'm in! Like Bill Cosby says, "Kids are brain damaged" so there is no way papers are ever going to come home from school without a fight or a half dozen reminders, at the very least! I think schools should install these babies in all lockers if they want another dime from us for wrapping paper, over-priced candy, coupons books, etc.!!

Life...EXAGGERATED is back

Oh, my email, duh....

Honestly with my last one being a Junior in high school, you would think I could keep things straight.

Nope, you're not alone for sure lol-When I was raising my 2 brothers, it was a constant struggle with getting papers returned in time, etc.

The youngest would leave books at school in his locker that he needed for homework lol

Thanks for the chance to win! I have a good friend whose son just started his freshman year and could use this!

This is going to help a child keep his or her locker organized? Yah right! Well, maybe a girl. They're usually more neat. (sexist statement, ouch)

I wanted to write something really clever, so that I might have a chance of winning -
But my mind suddenly said "No way! No can do.".
But, since I'm here anyway, I'll just tell you again how much I enjoy your blog!!

I'll be back -
