Ginger had a few homes before we got her; three or four... She bounced around a lot without a place to call her own. But that was 10 years ago and pretty much she considers everything around here her own.
I did acually buy a dog once that turned out to be creepy lovey smart lives in infamy...but only because it was a kind of rescue. She didn't really fit the pedigree appearence and they were "dumping her" as the last of the litter and they had not been able to sell her.
Other than that, rescue rescue rescue... best dogs on earth. They seem to "know".

Of course we all know that guard dogs never really sleep.

Rescue is the way to go, just one look at that photo should convince anyone. Our kitty is also a rescue and the sweetest girl anyone could hope for.
Every pup should have such a life:)
I strongly believe rescue dogs show their appreciation the best ;-) such a cutie! glad she found the perfect home!
