Frosty rainbows and dog smiles...
New Jersey is a small state, so without much trouble you can get to a beach.
In all of Ginger's fifteen years she'd never been to the shore because no one thought she'd like it. She doesn't like wind or loud noises.
Or other dogs. She doesn't like much at all really.

So a roaring surf didn't really seem like her thing.
Yesterday after much hemming and hawing about the weather and, would it be worth the drive, and other daily grind-type issues we took a drive to the beach and even dragged a besweatered Ginger along.
Weirdest thing; Ginger was beside herself with happy.
She smiled the whole time.

In Ginger's whole little life, I don't think she'd seen
such an unending expanse, just for her.
And in all my life...
such an unending expanse, just for her.
And in all my life...

I can't remember a time the sun tossed frosty rainbows along the water's edge.
Just for me....
Sometimes I guess you just have to go and assume
what you are going for will be there when you arrive.
