I vote leave the dog be. Atleast until it is time for bed, then simply dump clothes into a clean laundry basket (unless you have already found energy to put them in their proper place), then gently slide dog over to make room for the humans to slide in bed. The bed can always be made tomorrow, after all you are just going to mess it up again tonight anyway. That's my vote!

I think I will stick with my slobby inclinations and leave the dog alone.
